This site is wonderful you are doing a fantastic job . Your critical analyses are just mind blowing. And not to mention it is extremely useful in understanding the various possible allegorical interpretations especially of certain rare poems. It is always nice to have some added insights .Your command of the language , vocabulary and perfect choice of words are like frosting on an already amazing cake . Keep up the marvellous , superb and fabulous work !

I’m busy doing research on a poetry paper that I’m writing about Philip Larkin. I was just wondering what your thoughts are on his poem “Deceptions”. The reason I ask is because so much has been written about it, but it is all written by men, who seem very quick to spring to Larkin’s defence. As a woman, I don’t like the fact that Larkin seems to have equal sympathy for the rapist as the raped, but I’d like to hear the opinion of another woman on this poem. That is, if you feel like writing about it. 🙂
